About Course
Usul al-Fiqh (Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence or Legislation) is the knowledge of the methods for deriving and reasoning legal rulings from the Quran & Sunnah and other sources of Sharia Law. In this course, we have conducted a comparative study of the methodologies of jurists and scholars of Usul. We have also made an effort to relate the application of these principles to contemporary situations in order to enhance the relevance and usefulness of this subject.
